1. Agreement

By using InkFawn (“the Service”) at inkfawn.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. InkFawn is operated by its founder (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

2. The Service

InkFawn creates personalized AI-generated children's storybooks. You provide details about a child (first name, age, appearance via dropdown menus, interests), and our AI generates a unique illustrated story delivered as a downloadable PDF. The Service is designed for use by adults (parents, guardians, gift-givers) on behalf of children.

3. Accounts

You may use InkFawn with or without an account. Creating an account (via email/password or Google OAuth) allows you to access your purchased books from the “My Books” page and generate fresh download links. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Purchases & Pricing

Each personalized storybook is a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions.
Pricing is displayed at checkout. Standard digital PDF price is $29 USD (or equivalent in INR for India).
Payment is processed securely by Stripe (international) or Razorpay (India). We never see or store your card details.
You receive a free preview (2 of 10 story pages with illustrations) before any purchase is required.
After purchase, your PDF download link is valid for 7 days. If you have an account, you can generate fresh download links anytime from your “My Books” page.

5. Refund Policy

Because each book is uniquely generated and you receive a free preview before purchase, we generally do not offer refunds. However, if you experience a technical issue that prevents you from receiving or downloading your book, or if the generated content contains an error that makes the book unusable, please contact us at fred@inkfawn.com and we will make it right — either with a regenerated book or a full refund.

6. Content Ownership & License

Your book: Once purchased, you receive a personal, non-exclusive license to use, print, and share your personalized storybook for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may print copies for family, give as gifts, and read to children.
You may not: Resell, redistribute, or commercially publish InkFawn-generated books. Each book is for personal use only.
AI-generated content: Stories are generated by Anthropic's Claude AI. Illustrations are generated by Google's Gemini AI. The InkFawn name, logo, and brand elements remain our property.

7. Content Safety

All AI-generated stories are produced with strict safety guidelines to ensure content is G-rated and age-appropriate. Our system prompts enforce: no violence, no scary themes for young ages, no real-world brands or copyrighted characters, and no inappropriate content. Google's Gemini image generation includes built-in SafeSearch content filtering and SynthID watermarking for responsible AI use.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service to generate content that is harmful, abusive, or inappropriate for children
Attempt to circumvent payment or access controls
Use automated systems to generate books in bulk for resale
Provide false or misleading information during book creation
Interfere with or disrupt the Service

9. Disclaimer & Limitations

The Service is provided “as is.” While we strive for high quality, AI-generated content may occasionally contain imperfections in text or illustrations.
We do not guarantee that AI illustrations will perfectly match your child's exact appearance, though we optimize for consistency across pages.
Book generation typically takes 2–4 minutes but may take longer during high-demand periods.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific book in question.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of InkFawn after changes constitutes acceptance.
